Monday: Cone of black yarn arrives, promised by mother-in-law, gets buried in van-full of bedroom and living room furniture, bed and half a tonne of curtains and bed linen. I do love when my family have a sort out!

GAAA Wordless Wednesday: Hannah Burns Square
There is so much going on in this square that it’s difficult to keep track of all the charts – you will definitely have a lot of stitch markers! For more information, visit my Great American Aran Afghan Squidoo Page

Super Secret Projects
So the nights are drawing in (already) and I’m dog walking in wellies again. Out comes the autumn knitting that I started in may and gave up on (I think it may have been the grafting). I made it official by frogging and winding it all up into balls, and after chasing the dogs down the garden and fighting to get it back – winding it all up into balls again. Note to self – ignore that moment of madness that says grafting cables will be easy!
I’m planning something much simpler, with some ribbing and a nice collar. If it turns out well, I may even publish the pattern…
